The exact moment I liked this post was when Josie and the Pussycats was mentioned. It really is the greatest movie of all time (and I swear it’s not the subliminal messages making me write that)
I have never seen Josie but I’ve heard everyone talk about the soundtrack (and 3 Small Words is an earworm now). Is it appropriate for a (emotionally mature) 7 year old? I think I know what I want to watch for Friday movie night, is what I’m saying.
Ok I watched Victoria! I do love the first half! so tender n nostalgic—made me miss being a drunk girl hanging out with random dudes n the weird shit u get up to. But the sharp ass turn to never ending chaos was too much for me 😬 the movie itself is well done but didn’t feel attached to the character I guess-glad I watched it anyway. will be buying Rejection by Tony n heading back when done, have a feeling ill love that 💗
Dope Thief was so good!! BTH made me cackle but also want to cry so many times. He is so freaking talented. Agreed on the Wagner Moura front - Manny was so unhinged and sweet, I loved him. Special shout out to Kate Mulgrew too!
omg thank you for saying your friends and neighbors is mediocre!! i have been arguing with a friend about this. like no, this is not actually good tv, but yes i will continue to take in every moment of it. my little shows and movies do indeed make life worth living and keep my mental health intact so i'm so with you !!
nothing better than a mediocre show tbh. and movies too—i almost added “drop” to this list bc it was chef’s kiss entertainment without critical acclaim
Nathan Fielder forever <3
